Flounder (Level II)
Must be able to
Fully submerge head with eyes open for at least 3
seconds.
Float on front and back with instructor’s support.
Fully submerge head and exhale before returning to the surface
for more air at least 5 times.
Walk along the bottom of pool in chest deep water at least one
width while using front crawl arm stroke with arms coming out of
the water with each stroke.
Hold onto the poolside and do the crawl kick on the front and on
the back.
Focus on directions and practice for at least 5 minutes.
Understand the concept of taking turns.
Stand in 3 1/2 feet of water.

$80/Non-Resident. non-resident registration opens Friday, 5/15
Session 1 runs weekdays from 6/29-7/10 at 9:40am.
Online registrations must use credit cards. Credit cards will be charged a 2.99% transaction fee plus an additional $0.50.
Checks and cash accepted in the Rec Office at time of registration.

Please note: bathrooms are open to the public during lessons, and adults should supervise children when using the restrooms.
