Rochester 50+ Activity Membership

Eligibility: Rochester Residents 50 years of age and older. Please see General Policies for All Rochester Recreation 50+ Memberships for information on proof of residency.

Membership Fee: $20

Timeline: Rolling membership. Memberships are active one year from the date of membership purchase.

Membership Benefits: This membership includes all benefits covered in the Baseline Membership and allows you to register for our flagship 50+ fitness classes:

Power Hour
Cardio Drumming
Zumba

Rochester 50+ Activity Members also get free access to the following Adult (16+/18+) Drop-In Programs:

Drop-In 18+ Volleyball
Drop-In 16+ Yoga Classes
Drop-In 18+ Open Gym
Drop-In 18+ Pick Up Sports
Pickleball for Beginners

This membership also grants access registration for 50+ trips. Additional fees may apply for trips and programs. Please note that Sunday 16+ is not included as we will not be running that program.

Flagship Fitness Classes:
People on the waitlist can only participate if someone drops and they are enrolled in the program. If a participant misses the first two classes of the session, the participant will be contact regarding their eligibility for the program.

General Policies for All Rochester Recreation 50+ Memberships:

All Members agree to provide accurate, up to date account information to the Recreation Department.

Acceptable proof of Rochester residency includes driver’s license/state ID card, utility bill issued within the last 60 days, or a lease/rental agreement, all of which must contain a valid Rochester address and the name of said participant.

All members must complete the membership purchasing process either online or in the Recreation Office, to include signing a General Liability Release Waiver.

Current and future programs, events or activities may have unique rules, registration requirements and waivers in addition to those outlined in each membership.

Membership fees are nonrefundable.

Some programs and events may require additional fees.

All programs and events are subject to change.

Membership fees and program registration fees are subject to change on an annual basis.

Membership benefits are subject to change at the discretion of the Recreation Director.

All participants and patrons of Rochester Recreation & Arena programs and events must follow posted facility and program specific rules. Inability to follow such rules may result in termination or suspension of membership and/or participation in future department activities.?

All participants and patrons of Rochester Recreation & Arena -programs and events must behave in a safe, respectful manner and all interactions with others, including staff, must be safe and respectful. Inability to do so may result in termination of membership and participation in department activities.
