Rochester Rec Camp at the Rec Dept at the Foley Community Center

At Rochester Rec, we believe the recipe for a great summer is simple: provide a safe environment and keep kids outside, active and having fun! Role model staff engage campers in a day full of outdoor activities, games, swim and crafts. Camp takes place rain or shine, with an indoor location available. For over 60 years Rec Camp has provided generations of Rochester youth with positive childhood experiences and a sense of belonging. We look forward to welcoming our camp families, old and new, into this community tradition!

General Info:
>Ages 6 (and must have completed 1st grade by 6/29/26)-12 years old (must be 12 on 6/29)
>June 29-August 21 (No Camp on July 3rd)
>7:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
>7:30am-9:00am - Pre-Camp/Sign-In
>9:00am-4:00pm - Structured Camp Day
>4:00pm-5:30pm - Post-Camp/Sign-Out

Camp Tuition:
•Rochester Residents: $700 per camper for the full 8-week summer
•Non-Rochester Residents: $900 per camper for the full 8-week summer (if space available, see registration dates below)
•Campers must sign up for the full 8-week summer. There is no part time option.
•A $125 deposit per camper is due at time of registration. This amount goes toward the overall tuition amount.
•The full camp tuition balance must be paid no later than Friday, June 12.

Registration opens for Rochester Residents on Sunday, March 1.
Registration opens for non-residents Friday, May 1, if spots are available.
Registration deadline for all campers is Friday, May 15.

Payment Options:
•Online registrations must pay their initial deposit with a credit card* at time of registration.
•Remaining payments may be made online with a card, or in the office with cash or a check made out to the City of Rochester.
• In-office registrations may be paid with checks (made out to the City of Rochester), cash, or card*. $125 deposit due at the time of registration.

*All credit card transactions are charged a 2.99% fee, plus an additional $0.50.
