Memberships
Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) is an exercise program designed to improve the balance, mobility, and strength of people fighting Parkinson's. RSB improves the quality of life for these fighters through non-contact, boxing-inspired fitness training.
This program offers fitness classes to accommodate varying degrees of Parkinson's and fitness, and support from coaches who understand Parkinson's and how to help you fight it.
Classes are Mondays 12:45-2:15pm and Wednesdays 12:30-2pm at the Rochester Arena Fitness Studio. The fitness studio is located on the second floor of the Arena at 45 Lowell St; please note that access to the fitness studio requires climbing stairs.
The monthly membership cost is $35/month for Rochester Residents and $50/month for those who do not live in Rochester. This fee includes participation by a designated "Cornerman." More information below.
Before enrolling in the RSB Membership, participants must first come in for an assessment during a regular class (no fee for assessment).
In addition to purchasing a membership, participants will need to complete and return the following paperwork:

Designated "Cornermen" Agreement (if applicable)

Cornermen
At Rock Steady Boxing, taking care of our care partners (we call them "Cornermen") is an important part of our program. Cornermen give so much back to RSB by creating support groups, assisting and organizing functions and fundraisers, and giving much-needed feedback to us about how we can better meet the needs of our participants. Parkinson's boxing members are allowed to select ONE designated care partner, or "cornerman," who may enjoy some of the same privileges as our Parkinson's class members without any additional cost. Complimentary cornermen memberships are not transferrable.
